V.C. Brannen was born and raised in the South and yet somehow hates sweet tea and fried chicken. She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2007 with a B.F.A. in sequential art and a minor in drawing, and hopes to obtain her M.F.A. before she dies of old age. She enjoys a wide range of styles and media and various artisan crafts, as well as learning web design as a hobby in high school, and can frequently be caught installing Firefox on other people's computers.
She enjoys reading SF/F novels, defending werewolves over vampires, collecting useless trivia, and talking about herself in the third person.
